Awltech Diamond Edge Polishers
Awltech supply Diamond Edge Polishers which eliminate the need for hand scraping, sanding, buffing or flame polishing of saw cut acrylic sheet.
There are two machines available:
BERMAQ
Available in 2 lengths - 2m & 2.5m. The BERMAQ can process up to 100mm material at a speed of 90cm per minute. The tool speed is 4000 rpm, yet it is a very quiet machine to operate. It can polish bevelled edges up to 30%. The BERMAQ is a very solid machine, built for high load production processes.

EF 200 DIAMOND EDGE POLISHER
The EF200 Diamond Edge Polisher removes saw marks and produces a clear, polished edge on acrylic parts, all in a single pass through the machine. Single or multiple workpieces are fed by two constant - tension gear driven belt assemblies across a special diamond cutter, mounted on a high speed, super precise 22,000 rpm spindle. The feed rate is infinitely variable from 0 to 10 ft per minute, via a DC speed control. The feed belt assemblies can swing out to permit easy access to the cutter and are completely protected by safety guards.
A complete set of tools for set-up, adjustment and operation is furnished with each machine, along with a depth indicator and base for setting cutter height.

AMT
Table-top machine for polishing acrylic parts (PMMA) with a high quality finishing. In the AMT model, its table can be positioned to obtain bevels or angles up to 60o lean.
