Flames polishers are one of the extensive ranges of plastic fabrication equipment that we have available.
These compact machines are portable gas generators which produce an oxygen and hydrogen mixture cheaply from distilled water. They work by passing gas through methyl ethyl ketone to a torch tip, not only giving an extremely hot flame (up to 1850°C!) but one which is sufficiently clean to ensure that the workpiece is not contaminated.
One of the biggest advantages of these flame polishers is they can be run using a standard electrical supply.
They also won’t need a large number of cables, which will free up more space in your room. The high temperature flame is produced from small volumes of gas supplied at low pressure, with no storage or compression of gas necessary. You can therefore run it without any cumbersome cables.
